Dawn Sutherland is the senior Pastor of the Ebenezer Community Church in Days Mountain, Oracabessa, St. Mary Jamaica.
Her life mission is “to bring restoration and healing to the total man”. She also serves as visionary of the community outreach centre for Days Mountain, global intercessor, and minister throughout the island of Jamaica, the Caribbean and the USA, speaking at Churches, Seminars, and Conferences. She is also an instructor in the World Ministry Training Institute.
Bishop Sutherland was called to the ministry at the age of 17. Where she immediately began studying for the ministry and serving the body of Christ. She has since served as a Sunday School Teacher, Youth Leader, Evangelist, Prayer and Intercessor Leader and Assistant Pastor. She has completed a one (1) year course of study with the ” Lighthouse International Foursquare Evangelism Bible Institute, A Diploma for Pastors, Church Leaders and Discipleship Training with “Bible Training Centre of Jamaica and many other courses with Called to All Nations Ministries International.
The church through its various outreaches, is actively working to alleviate poverty, illiteracy, suffering by ministering the total gospel to the total man. The capstone of this effort will be construction of the Community Centre, designed to provide people with education, literacy training, skill development, basic health care, and practical resources for life empowerment.
Dawn is an ordained minister with Called to All Nations Ministries. She resides in St. Mary, Jamaica along with her children, one son, two daughters a one granddaughter.
Under the directional leadership of our Bishop, ministers oversee the doctrine, direction, and discipleship of Ebenezer Community Church. While each minister fulfill different roles in the church, the ministerial team collectively leads and gives oversight to Ebenezer Community Church as a whole.
Jascenta Marvel Simpson – minister, worship leader and intercessors.
Minister Simpson got saved at the age of twelve and later started singing in church services . She then became a Sunday school teacher and later a youth leader. Minister Simpson was later appointed as worship leader and an assistant pastor, bible study teacher and fasting services leader.
After much dedicated and service Minister Simpson was ordained as a full time minister with the Ebenezer Community Church. She is married with one child.
Minister Elaine Dunkley is a dedicated individual who loves the Lord with all her heart.
She started her christian journey from the tender age of 14. Minister Dunkley has held several post throughout her christian life. Inclusive of Sunday School Teacher, Missionary, Youth Department President, Deaconess an now a Minsiter. Additionally, she is the Minister in charge of the Ebenezer Community Church in Mason Hall, St. Mary.
Minister Dunkley has a diploma from the Bible Training Center for Pastors in Jamaica. She is married with four beautiful children.
Minister Colleen Oliphant is a commited, hardworking and dedicated woman of God steeped in the love of the Almighty.
She has been faithfully serving the Lord for over 33 years. During this time she has served in the capacities of YP Assistant President, Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School Superintendent, Worship Leader and Mission Leader.
Minister Oliphant is a recent graduate of the Bible Training Center for Pastors and Church Leaders. She now serves as Assistant Minister at the Ebenezer Community Church in Mason Hall, St. Mary where she is also a avid worker in the community ministering to lost souls. She lives by Isaiah 54:17 which states “No weapons formed against me shall prosper.”
Minister Ann-Marie Green a Christian for the pass 16 years, an active woman of God has served in various areas such as christian education and administration.
She’s a graduate of the Bethel Bible College where she obtain a Bachelor’s degree in theology and a minor in Guidance counseling.
Minister Green is also a early childhood educator. With a passion to serve she has volunteered her services in aiding others in the Jamaica for life long service programme (JFLL) and participated in programs aiming at reaching young people and children.
She strongly believes in the scripture that say we must work the work of him who sent us while it is day because the night is coming when no man can work: St John 9 vs 4. At Ebenezer Community Church Days Mountain she serves as Assistant Pastor, Sunday School Superintendent and Secretary/Treasurer.
